In 1989 Dee Dee Ramone, under the moniker Dee Dee King put out a rap/rock solo album. It… was not… received well.
So why not pay tribute to the late Dee Dee on the anniversary of his birthday (18 Sep) than cover the album in its entirety? That’s what Geoff Palmer, and an all-star ensemble of guest musicians figured to do. Mass Giorgini, Hayley and Reid Cain, Kirt Baker and more all lend a hand at points. The album is out now via Stardumb Records, and can be purchased at his Bandcamp page, or streamed over at Spotify.
