Last month Swedish power trio 偏執症者 (Paranoid) announced they would be embarking on their second cover of the month project for 2025, which is the tenth anniversary of the first time they did a cover of the month project.
Anyhow, for their January entry they covered Swedish black metal pioneers Bathory and their 1984 song “Armageddon.” Nw, for February, they’ve set their sights a year later, and down to Italy where they perform their rendition of the Raw Power‘s classic song “State Oppression.” That track originally appears on the 1985 LP Screams from the Gutter.
With a sample size of two, it is starting to look like these songs will only exist on YouTube. So enjoy it below, and be sure to visit them at their Bandcamp or Spotify for more music.
