Twenty-year scene vets Hawthorne Heights have announced the upcoming eighth studio album, The Rain Just Follows Me. The new record, due 10 September, will be released courtesy of Pure Noise Records.
To celebrate the new record, the Dayton, Ohio-based quartet have released lead single “Constant Dread” featuring Brendan Murphy of Canadian hardcore act Counterparts.
Hawthorne Heights will be embarking on a tour with Bayside, Senses Fail and The Bombpops this August.

Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon.
