Chicago punks 2Minute Minor have released a new video for their cover of Riot Spray‘s track “I Refuse”. The song comes off of the band’s new album A Collection of Covers, out today 13 May 2022, which compiles a range of covers the band has recorded going back to 2018.
Now, some of you may or may not be familiar with Riot Spray. The first thing to know is that the band doesn’t really exist. Riot Spray is a fictitious punk band featured in a segment from the show Portlandia, which includes guest stars Henry Rollins, Nirvana‘s Krist Novoselic, and Fugazi‘s Brendan Canty. We’ve included the bit below the video for 2Minute Minor’s cover, because it is worth it.
