Washington D.C.’s Beauty Pill could fall under any assortment of genres, and still confound description. I landed on “ffo- post-punk/rock/alt)” but, you know… “indie” could also be in there… more even? The point is that this band blends an eclectic mix of styles and makes them all work so well together.
Now Beauty Pill’s newest album, Blue Period, is out via Ernest Jenning Record Co. Officially a double LP, the album collects the 2003 You Are Right to Be Afraid EP, and 2004’s The Unsustainable Lifestyle LP, along with a few demos, alternative versions and more.
The album can be picked up digitally and on limited edition vinyl over at Bandcamp, or streamed over at Spotify.
