Exciting new SoCal post-punk act Hauntu, featuring current and former members of featuring current and former members of Tulpa Luna, Fluf, Goodbye Blue Monday and more deliver their debut 7″. The release features their premiere track “End of Days” from May as the B-side, with new single “Panic” as the A-side. I get a very post-punk/post-goth feel from the band, similar to the criminally-underrated Communiqué.
“Panic” also comes with a music video, which itself also has a companion short film Night of the Weirdwolves.

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
