Former Mutant Pop Records band After School Special have joined Something To Do Records. The band originally burned bright and went away quickly, releasing three singles and EP’s and a self-titled full length between 1995 and 1997.
Following After School Special’s demise, David Jones went on to form San Francisco-based punk band Enemy You. In 2015, David Jones passed away.
Something To Do Records is re-releasing the self-titled full length, with pre-orders going live 7 June at the Something To Do webstore. Digital versions will be available 20 June and records will begin shipping 30 June. Furthermore, all sales of this release will finance the unreleased second album from After School Special, called Lost Episodes, due out in September. For now, check out their song “Kitty Corner” below.
