Although technically out tomorrow, Seattle-based black/death metal act Hissing‘s new album Hypervirulence Architecture is streaming in full now over at YouTube. Out via Profound Lore Records. The release is 7 songs long, but is it an extended EP or an LP? Considering 1) it is metal and, 2) Yep, the songs are pretty long (one is 10 minutes long!), I’m voting on the latter.
This is the band’s first new music since 2018’s Permanent Destitution. Check out this linktree page for all of your streaming and purchase needs.
Below is a embed for the album on Bandcamp, which you can still pre-order.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
