Australia’s 1054 Records have what appears to be another banger up their sleeves in the debut EP from Sydney death metal quartet Anoxia (not to be confused with the Mexican metal act Anoxia). Titled Languish in Suffering, the five-song album is due out on 17 Feb 2023.
As part of the announcement, the final track from the EP, “Torturous Degradation”, has been released. Interestingly, it is officially the 2020 demo version of the song, and the new, final version will also appear on the EP. But if what we hear below is the demo, well… it’s hard to think it could get any better, but it looks it will with the final studio version.
