Dutch punk trio Antillectual have released a new EP of cover songs. Titled Covers EP, the album consists four tracks originally by The Police, Ramones, The Nerves, and The Stooges. The EP is available as a digital download via their Bandcamp page.
Antillectual were supposed to have a release party for the EP, but that’s obviously been canned due to the pandemic and, instead, the band is now throwing a virtual release party. That event is this Friday, May 15th, at 20h CET (2pm EDT) on their Facebook page. You can click HERE to go there, and put in requests (we will also remind you of the event on the day of with the Quarantine Concert Roundup).
In the meantime, check out their cover of “Hanging on the Telephone” by The Nerves (but which was, to be honest, popularized when Blondie covered it).
