Austin Lucas recently dropped his released the Reinventing Against Me! cover album, but isn’t done just yet. Now the Americana-tinged musician releases a new cover of No Doubt‘s break out song “Just A Girl.” Lucas explains
I learned and recorded this song in the midst of the pandemic while I was stranded in Germany. Although I was quite happy with the end result, it felt so raw and vulnerable that it took me years to get up the nerve to release it. Thanks to the encouragement of some dear friends, the day has finally come where I can proudly say that my version of the classic (No Doubt) song “Just a Girl” is available everywhere…
