California indie/emo quartet awakebutstillinbed and Chicago’s your arms are my cocoon (both of which apparently shun the shift and caps lock keys) have announced the joint 400m Midwest Dash Tour for March. Launching in Milwaukee, the tour will see the bands head as far north as Minneapolis, and down to Nashville. Joining them on the back stretch of the tour will be Alabama’s Insignificant Other.
These dates are in addition to awakebutstillinbed’s upcoming West and East Coast USA dates. See the poster below and, underneath, the available gig links as provided by the absib Bandcamp (does not reflect all scheduled dates).`

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
