“Ska is dead. Long live Ska.” That should be the genre’s perpetual rallying cry, as anytime someone asks when it’s over again, it turns out it was never really gone.
Testament to that is the upcoming Bad Time Tour 2023, which has announced an upgrade to several venues to increase capacity. Other cities which may not have the luxury of switching to upgraded venues are also low on tix. Ska is dead, and all that, right?
The two-leg tour, featuring We Are The Union, Catbite, and Kill Lincoln co-headlining, will be split between dates in March, and then June and July. Throughout the tour a rotating coterie of guest acts will be joining in to support: Omnigone, Joystick, Bad Operation, and J Navarro & The Traitors.
Tickets are on sale here. You can check out the updated tour dates below.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
