Milwaukee’s Bad Year have released a new single and video. The song, “Killing Me,” is the first single off of an upcoming EP, the band’s third.
Not just a good song and powerful video, the band is also working in conjunction with Backline, a “national 501(c)(3) organization that connects music industry professionals and their families with mental health and wellness resources. We are building a safer and more supportive music industry by creating access to quality mental health care providers that understand this line of work.” Bad Year will be donating a portion of their proceeds to Backline.
In an article on the Backline website, Joey Jonas discusses the deeper meanings to the song and video. It is a stunning read and worth your time.
You can check out the new video below, and visit Bad Year’s Bandcamp and Spotify pages if you want to buy/hear more.
