Oi 2 The World Records has dropped a new, 19-track comp, with proceeds going to Save the Sidebar. The 19-track benefit comp features bands from all genres, not just Oi!, including The Jasons, Braceface, and more.
The Sidebar, a Baltimore staple, is in dire straights. A GoFundMe has been initiated to purchase the venue along with its liquor license, and operate it as a non-profit so that all money made beyond operating costs goes back into the venue. So, technically, proceeds from the sale of the comp won’t go directly to the Sidebar, but to the planning non-profit looking to purchase it.
