Symphonic/epic metal act Malphas (the Philadelphia one) have announced a new LP, Portal. This is their sophomore full-length, and joins 2018’s The 39th Spirit LP, as well as the 2015 The Conjuring EP. Portal is scheduled for release on 29 Mar 2024 via M-Theory Audio.
To mark the announcement, Malphas have released the first single from the new LP, “Red Shield Syndicate.” It’s a symphonic metal tour de force, and has a few surprises in store (at one point you will 100% think the song accidentally switched to an early Mike Patton Faith No More track).
