UK’s recently reformed Blame It On The Dog? have released their first single of 2021. The track, “Maisy Daisy,” has a special story behind it, as the band describes:
This pop punk song was written as a competition prize. It was personalised as a gift and it tells the story of the winners daughter and dog Cookie. You may be able to relate to this song within your own family. For Star Wars fans, you definately (sic) hears the word ‘Wookie’.
The band had a short run in the beginning of the millenium, but COVID-19 has brought them back together. You can check out the new single below.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
