Wicker Whatnots – 28 Mar 2024
Last March Massachusetts’ Cheap City dropped their new album Blue Dancers. Now they’ve got a short film set to the twelve songs from five of the songs from the album (damn that syrup fire… no, the one in April) and, of course, ends with the title track. It’s about twenty-three minutes long, so you’re going to want to pop some corn and grab a drink before diving in.
Afterward be sure to visit their Bandcamp to grab the album, or Spotify to stream.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, the SF/Bay Area, and now the Twin Cities. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
