Bruce Lee Band, the ever-changing ska brain child of Asian Man Records’ Mike Park, currently featuring known ska-wizard Jeff Rosenstock, dropped a new video for their latest single, “Division in the Heartland,” the title track from their recently announced and highly anticipated new EP, the follow up to 2019’s Rental!! Eviction!!.
The new video features the art of Gilbert Armendariz, a painting spanning across a 45 x 38 canvas which fans now have the chance of winning in an auction. Proceeds from the auction will go to Asian Americans Advancing Justice, a group advocating for the rights of the AAPI community through programs dedicated to Immigration and Housing reform, Worker’s Rights, and Community Organizing.
The single itself is also available as a name-you-price digital download, with all proceeds from that sale going to Stop AAPI Hate to help prevent hate crimes against Asians and Pacific Islanders, as well as provide resources for victims of AAPI hate crimes.
