Catbite releases surprise hardcore album “Catfite,” all proceeds until Sunday go to charity

This release will also be featured in our Corral in an hour, but this is too good not to get its own story. Philly ska-punks Catbite have re-recorded the songs from their 2019 self-titled album in hardcore style and it is awesome!

Bandcamp is donating all of their their proceeds from today’s sales to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and, to sweeten the pot, between today and Sunday, 20 Jun 2021, Catbite will be donating the proceeds from their portion of sales from this album to Hearts On A Wire, a prison advocacy organization addressing the needs of transgender POC In Pennsylvania’s prisons.

You can check out a video of the band (and Adam Davis of Link 80/Omnigone) performing their song “MIDNIGHT EYES” below, and head over to Bandcamp to hear the rest (and, you know, buy it?).
