Can’t Swim, Chamber, The Dirty Nil, Red City Radio, Rotting Out, and State Champs release covers from upcoming “Dead Formats” comp

Wow, it’s a big morning for Pure Noise Records, as they have dropped five new tracks from their upcoming Dead Formats Vol. 1 comp.

Four of the tracks are just music with a static image, but two are proper videos. First up we have Can’t Swim, who covers popular Rancid track, “Radio”, which originally appears on the band’s 1994 release Let’s Go.

Chamber covers Machine Head‘s “Davidian”, which comes off of the band’s 1994 release Burn My Eyes.

Next is The Dirty Nil and their version of the classic Minor Threat track “Filler”, which is from their 1981 debut self-titled EP.

Red City Radio is next, as they channel The All American Rejects in their cover of “Move Along”, from the album of the same name released in 2005.

Rotting Out submit their rendition of Pennywise‘s “Society”, from the 1997 Full Circle LP.

Rounding it all out is State Champs and their cover of Blink 182‘s “What’s My Age Again”, from their 1999 album Enema of the State.

The Dead Formats Vol. 1 comp is expected to drop digitally on 30 Aug 2022. Vinyl is expected to ship 30 Sep 2022 and can be pre-ordered and pre-saved here.
