The good thing about Bandcamp Friday is that a lot of labels release massive comps benefiting worthy organizations. My Grito Industries, a Latino & Chicano run label (imprinted under Wiretap Records), which aims to spotlight Latino/LatinX artists from all creative backgrounds, has released the fifth volume of their charity compilation series Mas Alto!.
Vol. 5 features 30 tracks including artists like Ear Ringers, The Dreamscape, Flare Hearts, and more, with all proceeds going to the Corazon de Vida Foundation, which provides life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja, Mexico by funding local orphanages, quality of life improvement services and investing in the children’s future by funding higher education.
As always, the comp is available as a name-your-price download so, while could technically be free, think of los niños and las niñas, and open up that wallet!
