TGEFM’s favorite Chilean musician Chatowario has released a 4+ minute drum medley in honor of the late Foo Fighters‘ drummer Taylor Hawkins. In the medley, Chatowario (aka Mario Acuña) performs segments of a dozen songs, covering seven of Foo Fighters’ albums from Hawkins’ first in 1999 up to up to 2017’s Concrete and Gold.
Hawkins died suddenly at age 50 on 25 Mar 2022 in Bogotá, Colombia hours before a gig, sparking multiple tributes in his honor. Foo Fighters soon cancelled their remaining tour dates.
