Come April there’s going to be an Orgy of Hate. The album that is. That’s the title of the upcoming release from New York’s chumhuffer. It’s a seven-track release so you’d think it’s right on that line between an (extended) EP or an LP. But I’ve confirmed with the band that it clocks in at about 11 minutes, so definitely an EP.
To mark the announcement, chumhuffer have released the first single from the EP, “Wasting Away” as a music video. As befits the short runtime of the whole EP, “Wasting Away” is only 1m18s long, which means you could fit 7 1/2 of them into one “November Rain”.
Enjoy the new single and video below, and swing by the chumhuffer Bandcamp where you can preorder the album on digital download, CD, or very limited edition lathe cut vinyl as well; as hear their debut 2022 EP Blood in the Water.
