In a recent email to newsletter subscribers Constellation Records wrote “OUR SIDE HAS TO WIN,” and included a link to a video obscurely titled 4521.0kHz 6730.0kHz 4109.09kHz.
Fans have quickly speculated that we’re looking at a new album by Godspeed You! Black Emperor or, at least, something that Efrim Manuel Menuck has his hands on. Before comments on the video were disabled, several fans collectively discovered at least one use for each of those frequencies:
“4521.0kHz (This was a frequency used to communicate regarding space launches and missile launches) It is/was used at the Eastern Test Range in Malabar)”
“6730.0kHz German Navy radio frequency no longer in use. 4109.09kHz Current Russian Military frequency.”
What these potential connections have with whatever it is Constellation is teasing at is still to be revealed. We’ll keep you updated.
