Glaswegian promoter Dammit Presents has pulled together a new benefit comp. Titled A Compilation Vol.2, the comp features (check glasses) 63 (!) tracks from acts all over the board, including Petrol Girls, The Deadnotes, The Overbites and more.
The comnp is available as a name-you-price download, with all proceeds going to support Glasgow venue Bloc+ which is, obviously, struggling due to the pandemic and subsequent shut-down of live music.
You can check out the track “So Long” by Doc Rotten below, and head over to Bandcamp to pick up a copy of this massive comp.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, the SF/Bay Area, and now the Twin Cities. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
