Dayglo Abortions are “Calling All People” in new “unity”-style single

Canadian thrash/crass/punks have released the newest single from their upcoming album. This next track, “Calling All People,” takes a slightly different tack than the previous singles in both tempo and vocal delivery (and the fact that it seems to be a little bit more “positive” than most Day-Glo songs). It is the most recent in a series of single drops, all of which will be off of the upcoming (but release date TBA) LP Hate Speech.

Guitarist/vocalist Murray “the cretin” Acton has this to say in the single’s info:

this is the last song on side two of hate speech. Even though the album is called hate speech and all of the other songs are for the most part criticizing their subject matter. This song is the one that contains the message I would like to share with people. It is I believe true that we are in many ways ruled by greedy corporations and evil minded people who do their bidding, but it is only because we allow it to be so. All we have to do is stop supporting those companies and their government shills. The only revolution that needs to happen is the revolution of the self. We need to become responsible in our words and our actions. Cheers to all of you and thank you for the support you show us. Let’s take our world back.
