San Francisco art-punk band Deerhoof have released a cover of the Sleater-Kinney song “Don’t Talk Like” (from The Hot Rock). The song is out as part of the Kill Rock Stars 30-year anniversary cover series called Stars Rock Kill (Rock Stars). Other contributors to the series include Laura Jane Grace, Xiu Xiu, Nels Cline, Califone, and many others. The collection is available for purchase from the Kill Rock Stars site and the Deerhoof song can be streamed here.
