Hike The Peak‘s newest entry continues the cycle with two tracks, one featuring vocalist Oli Barth-Jurca (Melonball) and Danny Cummings (Fair Do’s). This is the third set of tracks in the next series of releases, making the title thus far as Only The True… Still curious where this is going. (spoiler alert: TGEFM knows!)
Hike the Peak is the melodic punk brainchild of Lee Byatt, who handles primary guitar duties, and sees a rotating roster of some of punk’s best musicians and vocalists lending their voices so that each song has its own flavor, while still being recognizable as part of a whole.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
