Japan’s ブルーストレート (Blue Straight) cover a lot of genres in the music, from straight-up punk to guitar driven alt-rock. For their newest, “Sunrise,” the needle lands on melodic punk. A seemingly subtle intro slowly builds into na blazing fast banger while delivering the melodic and intricate performance typical of the band.
Oh, and as for that “disappointed” line:
we shot it in December, it was pretty cold , Kingo wanted sunrise, we both expected the sunrise to be bigger, we were both disappointed 🤣 but we didn’t want sky replacement. so enjoy the tiny sun rising in the background 😘
