Motorbike – “Kick It Over”

Self – 21 March 2025

Recorded in an Ohio basement, with the credo to raise your glass, pump some gas, and kick it over. It’s rockabilly post-punk on the gas hard rock with some slight references to motorbike nomenclature.

Why you want it: The group doesn’t just pump out rudimentary biker hard rock, there is real depth to their sound.

Why you don’t: If your more of a scooter person.

Top Tracks: “Scrap Heap”, “Jungle Land”

Reconciler – “Three Songs”

Smartpunk Records – 7 March 2025

3 songs from the Atlanta Georgia 3-piece band playing punk/post-punk melodic mixed with soft-edged hardcore and a little bit of southern rock.

Why you want it: A little heavier but just as catchy as the band’s previous releases.

Why you don’t: The mid song shift from melodic southern rock punk to hardcore may not be for everyone.

Top Tracks: “Stockholm Syndrome”, “Wear You Down”

Teens In Trouble – “Live in Phoenix”

Asian Man Records / Sneak Dog Records – 25 March 2025

Live recording at the Crescent Ballroom in, you guessed it, Phoenix Arizona. Released in celebration of the one-year anniversary of the band’s debut album What’s Mine.

Why you want it: This is a beautiful live recording, just enough live “feel” to be intimate, but recorded so clean you almost forget that it is live.

Why you don’t: If you don’t like these songs already, the live versions are probably not going to change your mind.

Top Tracks: “You Don’t Want to Mess With Me”, “Awkward Girl”

Various artists – “Marble City Meltdown – Volume Two”

Coffin Curse Records – 17 March 2025

18 tracks of all different punk styles, I mean it has everything.

Why you want it: Unless you have horrible taste in music, you will find something you like on this.

Why you don’t: You don’t like any forms of punk music or anything that sounds remotely close to punk.

Top Tracks: “Throw Rocks At Nazis”, “What Would Life Be Like”
