Elle Belle have released the new single “Saturday.” The new single can be found on the LA-based band’s upcoming record, How Do I Feel, out 1 September from Little Record Company.
Songwriter Christopher Pappas says of the record-writing process, which occurred while facing an autoimmune disease in the midst of a global pandemic accompanied by a cancer-scare:
“By making this record, what I did was I readjusted the real questions I should be asking myself. It doesn’t matter how I feel. What you need to remember is that people go through shit, but you can do this. That became the main takeaway. How do I feel? Fuck if I know. But you know what? I’m going to wake up tomorrow. And there’s power in just being like, no matter what you get up, you make the bed, go get your coffee and you keep going.”

Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
