Hungarian punks Bankrupt have a new TWO NEW EPs out today, even though they’re kinda the same thing. For those who pay attention (and TGEFM surely does), the band always presents two versions of their music, one in English, and one in their native tongue Magyarul. The new release, Blacklist or Feketelista is no exception. Not only does TGEFM love their music, but we love what they’re doing (and how well they integrate the different languages into the cadence of the song).
Even better, they’ve also got new videos for the title track. So sit back, pick your language (or do a double feature), and then head to their Bandcamp to grab a copy. We’ll also include their Spotify, but although their is a placeholder, it doesn’t appear to have launched there just yet.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
