Hailing from Hull, UK, Bedsit has released their sophomore EP Dead Bands. Following up a single this past April and their debut EP Pocket Toy from Feb 2020, the new EP is:
…about the chaos and uncertainty of modern times, the struggle for meaning and motivation. We all have the sense that something isn’t right. Often, we get cynical and angry. But occasionally, we get a glimpse of the magical – a moment of ecstasy – and that relief is worth living for.
Also note that this is Bedsit’s first EP as a full band, as founder and original solo multi-instrumentalist Tom Hockney padded out the act with a bunch of talented musicians (probably makes playing live a lot easier, too).
