Yeah yeah.. this album was released last month. But it flew under our radar at the time, and TGEFM would be remiss if we didn’t bring it to your attention. Anyhow… Texas trio Down Not Out have released their debut, self-titled EP. The 4-track released follows a series of digital 7″s and singles dating back to Jan 2020 (you know… the Before Times).
Down Not Out plays a no frills, 80s-style punk that takes you back to a time when skateboards didn’t look like symmetrical pills but, then again, we also put rails on them. Sigh…

the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area.
