This debut EP from Warrington, UK’s Great Silence is fabulous. Rarely does a band play such catchy, powerful songs that also sound just right. I also like bands that aren’t afraid to let their bassist run wild, and this is one of them. You’ll dig it, trust us. At seven songs long it kinda straddles the line between EP and LP, but who are we to argue?

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
