Nate Vickers just dropped his new EP Don’t Look Down today, and it feels like the moment he’s been building toward all year. The title track comes with a brand new video that pushes straight into the emotional freefall the song is all about — the kind of “hold your breath and jump anyway” energy that’s been fueling Nate’s recent run of heavier, more personal material. Of the EP, Nate says:
‘Don’t Look Down’ is my way of ending the year strong, while also closing this chapter of my career. I’m extremely excited for my debut headlining shows and all the new, heavier music I’ll be dropping in 2026.”
To celebrate the release, he’s heading back home for his first-ever headline run: Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. Tickets are already moving.

Bad Dad (occasionally called Ed) has been on the periphery of the punk and punk-adjacent scene for over twenty years. While many contributors to this site have musical experience and talent, Ed’s musical claim to fame comes from his time in arguably the most punk rock Blockbuster Video district in NJ where he worked alongside members of Blanks 77, Best Hit TV and Brian Fallon. He is more than just an awful father to his 2 daughters, he is also a dreadful husband, a subpar writer, a terrible dresser and has a severe deficiency in all things talent… but hey, at least he’s self-aware, amirite?
