Hey, that description is their words, not mine. If I had to compare them for someone, I’d say “Think about how Naked Raygun does so many things musically, but generally gets lumped under the ‘punk’ genre. That’s what RBRF is like, but a bit noisier.”
Chicago’s Real Bad Real Fast (also sometimes Realbadrealfast) have released a new EP, their first new music since the 2019 Safety First LP. The new album is titled Educational Instruction and, although it is technically listed to release tomorrow, it is streaming now over at their Bandcamp page. I’m not sure if buying a digital download will actually get you a copy now or tomorrow, though.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
