Seattle’s Sun Spots have shared their new Loosey EP. This is the band’s third release, following up 2020’s Low Again/Bonehead 7″ and the 2019 Ringer/Girl 7″. Interestingly, the band has a theme going on with their covers. The previous two 7″s feature feature primarily a pile blue and red glitter, respectively. Now Loosey has a pile of cigarette butts. It doesn’t seem like much on the surface, but I dig when a band does something like this.
Listen to the new EP below, and visit Sun Spots’ Bandcamp page to grab a copy of a digital download, or to hear those previous two 7″s.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
