UK pop/melodic punk trio Monkie Mind (formerly Monkey Mind, note the new spelling) have dropped their first new music of 2024, and it comes with a great music video. “Surrealio,” out via People of Punk Rock Records, is the band’s second single since the release of their excellent 2021, self-titled debut LP (see my review here).
Lee Wright and team compose the kind of poppy punk that always puts a grin on my face, and “Surrealio” is no exception. Videos are fun, and this one, filmed and directed by Sam Taylor, is just the icing on the cake.
