UK melodic punk/hardcore quartet Fair Do’s have a new single, their third of the year. “Consolation” follows up “Love and Light” and “Casket” as part of the new direction the band is taking more technical territory
The band, a cheery bunch, has this to say about the single:
When the apocalypse comes, and it will, we can all take consolation in the fact that every greedy, lying scumbag that has led us there will die a gruesome painful death.
The track is out via Thousand Islands Records and Lockjaw Records, and you can also access it via this link page.
I sound like a broken record here, but still no word on a forthcoming album from these guys. They just keep teasing and teasing us… sigh. TGEFM will let you know if any news on that front crops up.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
