Well, OK… not the entire band. Australian melodic punks Fake News drop their new single “Southbound” as part of the announcement of their upcoming album Dead Set. No other news on that album at this point, but we do have this new music which is “about all the times Tim has hopped in his car & headed south to Darren’s place to record vocals for all our music. It became an institution for us & something we all looked forward to because we always have fun together.”

The new album will followed last year’s Time and Place EP, and is currently available on their Bandcamp page. It doesn’t appear to be on Spotify at the time I wrote this, but considering everything else is there, it shouldn’t be long.
