Fat Mike Gets Strung Out, the fancy arrangements of songs by NOFX‘s Fat Mike, is coming for another round. The first release saw Mike working with Baz, but for the second edition he’ll be utilizing the skills of The Sleeping Souls‘ Matt Nasir.
Apparently they have seven songs in the can already, and have released the first to announce the project. It was matt’s wish to do the excellent “Kids of the K Hole” from the NOFX album So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes.
So far we just know that the album will be out in 2025. We’ll pass along more info once it becomes available but, for now, hera the single below, and visit the Fat store to pick up the first release.

He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
