A look back at some of the stories we missed.
Occasionally TGEFM misses the boat on news by bands both big and small (mostly small)- including new music releases, new album announcements, and anything in-between. To make up for it, the semi-regular Fell Through the Cracks feature will give a brief blurb and links so you can check it out!
Childdish – El Silencia no es Opcíon EP
Santiago, Chile’s Childdish released this excellent EP in June. Give it a listen, and the head over to their Bandcamp to check out more of their music.
Darksiders – Mothership
Illinois’ Darksiders released their album Mothership via Spotify. The release includes two studio scratch tracks.
Disbaja – Prošlost Sadašnjosti (History of Now)
Croatian hardcore/metal act Disbaja released their newest LP in July. It is ferocious.
Dissolve – Until the Drugs Wear Off
New York’s metal/hardcore quintet Dissolve released their newest EP in July via Trip Machine Laboratories.
En Contra de Todo – El Fin De Mis Miedos
Medellín, Colombia’s En Contra de Todo dropped their new LP in July. Good for fans of punk and hardcore.
Paperweight – “The Kids on the Ground”
Melbourne, AU’s Paperweight released a new single/video at the end of July. It appears to be their second single, and you can check out their other track also on their YouTube page.
Sober Sucks – Wasted at War
French bardcore punk act Sober Sucks released their debut EP in early June.
stop.drop.rewind – “A (Very )Pop-Punk Space Force Theme Song”
Indiana’s stop.drop.rewind have released a new single/video, an unsolicited theme song for the newly-formed US Space Force. It gets MY vote!
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
