The Kilograms – EP Drive-by Review

The new albums first single was just released called “Plastered In The Rafters” and features D-Ray of Bad Operation on the trombone. Gittleman previously released three solo songs on a split EP with Bad Operation last summer as part of Bad Time’s Wavebreaker series. This first track follows in the same vein from these previous tracks and so if you dug those, you’ll dig this one. D-Ray’s sole trombone playing throughout the song guides you the melodies and ties everything together. It’s a little reggae, a little ska, a little sad, and a little upbeat.

First Impressions are whiz-bang reviews of singles, 7″s, EPs, and LPs which are given a review after a single listen. This is a great way for TGEFM to showcase some of the releases which may not get a full review on their own.
