Ohio’s NEVERNEW drop the September track for their year-long album Stranger. The newest additions is “Flowers of Evil” and, holy hell, that sounds a lot scarier than I would have expected. Fear not, this isn’t the death metal meets anthophile you’re probably expecting. It’s the same quirky indie-rock that NEVERNEW continues to release.
This is the latest in a series of singles, all of which combine annually into a twelve-song album. Once they new year starts, a new album is begun. The project is now in its fourth year.
