Frank Turner has released another single, “Miranda,” from his upcoming album. That’s off of FTHC, which will be released on 11 Feb 2022 via Polydor Records.
The song details Turner’s difficult relationship with his father, who is also transgender. He explains:
Miranda’s just actually quite a nice person, but my dad was a shitty person, a bitter and angry and resentful person who had a gigantic temper problem. If you just continue with resentment endlessly for somebody, it’s not having any kind of meaningful effect. The only person it’s affecting is you and it’s a waste of energy. Miranda’s not a completely new person, but she’s certainly a new version of a person – and a much better version.
Turner will also be heading out on The Never Ending Tour of Everywhere UK tour in 2022 with …& The Sleeping Souls as his backing band.
