Texas punks Ghosthookers have released a new single, “Spreading Bruise.” It’s a wild number with a bit of a punk n’ roll vibe that is described as “a song about making someone you hate shut up…permanently.” That’s a fairly apt description.
The song follows up “EWWW!” which was released mid-October. Both tracks have a cover indicating that they are off of the Rabies Angel EP, which TGEFM assumes is forthcoming. We’ve reached out to the band for more info on that
In the meantime, check out the new track below.
the white drew carey (aka – Jeff Sorley) is the founder and head editor of TGEFM. He’s lived (outside of) Chicago, Madison WI, (ugh) Penn State, Lyon FR, Oxford UK, central New Jersey, and now within earshot of SFO in the Bay Area. When not scouring the web for more great bands and labels to post about, he also spends time drawing (mostly) silly sci-fi and anime stuff under the name Asplenia Studios.
