Girls Camp say “It’s Hip To Be Sad” in debut E.P.

Minnesota hideaway darlings Girls Camp recently released their debut EP, It’s Hip To Be Sad, a hop, skip, skank, and waltz through punk in all of its weirdest waves over four short tracks. The band has managed to remain unsearchable via social media to date due to the very clever ambiguity behind searching “girls camp minnesota” across the internet, but luckily these instant charmers came across the Bandcamp new punk releases, and I was instantly drawn to how versatile this band is as well as the Lisa Simpson saxophone credit on Track 2.
