Scottish “misery punks” Goodbye Blue Monday have announced the pending release of their debut LP. Titled the Let’s Go Goodbye Blue Monday by Goodbye Blue Monday, the album is due out 13 Mar 2023 via Make-That-A-Take Records. It follows up a stream of singles going back to the 2019 Misery-Punk Ruined My Life EP.
In addition to the announcement and reorders going up, the band has released the first single from the album, “Meet My Avatar”. You can check that out below, and visit the GBM Bandcamp where you can preorder on digital, or the MTAT Bandcamp which also has vinyl preorders.
